Blushing

Asked By: Anonymous     Views: 1,936 times

Today in my high school psychology class we learned about many disorders. One that caught my attention was social anxiety because I had the exact same symptoms. I have a major problem with blushing and it is a vicious cycle. Tonight I was listening to some interviews on the social anxiety website and I am planing on use those tips that were discussed. However I was wondering if there is one technique in particular that helps with blushing the most. Is it learning to accept and be "friends" with it?

You are on target. The more a person does not care if he/she blushes, the more the symptom will diminish. Search the blog for the “magic trick” story. Usually it takes some emotional and psychological work, but that indeed is the technique. Good luck with it!
